Sometimes I get sessions in that just melt my heart. Snuffles was one of those.
I got a message from a woman who wanted to gift a session to her friend. They had just found out that the dog had cancer, so they wanted to make sure the owner had amazing pictures of him before he got too sick.
She raised money for the session and snuck him in just in time to get pictures back in time for Christmas.
We got these sweet images of this verrrrry food motivated boy, and I just adore them! :)
Check out Snuffles, the sweet old Boston.
I always welcome gifted sessions. I think that's one of the sweetest things you can do for a friend or family member who is just in love with their pet(s).
Likewise, as devastating as it is to find out your own pet is sick, please keep in mind that your time with them may be more limited than you imagined. Getting special images that don't just sit on your phones is very important. It not only shows off all the things you love about them, but it also will help you when they're gone....to see them in the way you want to remember them.
Even more important, I think, is to get images of them before they are even diagnosed with something. Get them memorialized in their youth, when their personality really shines through. You will always cherish those images.

Cindy Leonard - Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures of Snuffles. He continues to rejoice in treats and loving pats on the head, but even after he's gone, I'll be eternally grateful to Snoots for making his image eternal and to Nancy for making all of this possible. Bless you!
